AMD Ryzen rolls out a ton of new CPU and GPU processors

A lot is going on at the CES 2024 event, one of the big announcements is the release of the new AMD Ryzen processors. The new processors are for CPUs and GPUs, and they all bring performance upgrades from their predecessors. This release includes the Ryzen 8000 series, and 5000 series, as well as the Radeon RX 7600 XT graphics card.

For the new Ryzen 8000 series, these are AMD’s APUs, and they come with integrated NPU for AI acceleration and their own integrated graphics. In total, AMD announced four new Ryzen 8000 series APUs, each coming with integrated Radeon 700 series graphics. The new APUs are the Ryzen 7 8700G, Ryzen 5 8600G, Ryzen 5 8500G, and the Ryzen 3 8300G processors.

Among these processors, the Ryzen 7 8700G brings the highest graphics core count of 12 while packing 8 cores and 16 threads. The Radeon integrated graphics that these processors come with can support 1080p gaming. The next line of processors are the new entries into the Ryzen 5700 series.

This new processor, the Ryzen 7 5700X3D, is an 8-core processor, and it comes without its own integrated graphics. Following this are the new Ryzen 7 5700, Ryzen 5 5600GT, and the Ryzen 5 5500GT processors. All these new processors will soon be available on the global scene and launched on various laptops.

For the desktop family, AMD is announcing the new Radeon RX 7600 XT. This new graphics card brings a ton of improvements in comparison with its predecessor. AMD will start making these Ryzen processors as well as the Radeon graphics card available by the end of the month.
