As we step into the new year, the Geely automobile business is already making some big plans. This year, the Chinese EV manufacturer aims to produce 1.9 million vehicle units for sale in various regions where its business is present. These are some big plans for the firm as the target this year is more than what they were able to accomplish in 2023 where they saw massive growth.
Last year, Geely was able to hit an impressive sale of 1.68 million vehicles, yes you read that right. These vehicles were sold in various regions around the world and not only in the firm’s home market, China. This was an 18% improvement from the firm’s sales for the year 2022 now that’s an impressive growth.
For this year, the Geely automobile business is envisioning more growth from manufacturing to sales. By planning to manufacture 1.9 million vehicle units, Geely is planning a 13% growth from the achievement last year. This is a great plan for the year coming from Geely, one of China’s largest EV manufacturers.
This year will be a big one for the Chinese EV industry, as various manufacturers are already making their plans known. Within the year, Geely might move to release new EV models under its different subsidiary brands. These vehicles will be retailed in various regions, hence helping the Chinese EV manufacturer to achieve its manufacturing and sales plan for the year.
