Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 will be released this week

It looks like Microsoft’s Surface Laptop Go 2 is on the way. The new laptop appeared on the page of Korean retailers but was immediately removed. But, as you know, everything that leaks to the web – stays there forever.

According to available information, the Surface Laptop Go 2 will switch the 10th-gen Intel Core processor for the 11th-gen. The particular configuration that leaked online boasts the i5-1135G7 and Intel Iris Xe graphics.

Like its predecessor, the Surface Laptop Go, it will support up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage. However, the specs of the base model are still unclear. Previous reports indicated that the base model will have 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.

You can be sure that Windows 11 will be the OS of choice. Microsoft promises up to 13.5 hours of battery life. In addition, it is expected that the system will have “improved performance of the HD camera” (whatever that means). Although, like its predecessor, the laptop will receive a 720p webcam.

The Surface Laptop Go 2 is rumored to get a 12.4-inch display with a 3:2 aspect ratio, a usual array of ports (including a 3.5mm headphone jack and Surface charging port), and a fingerprint scanner. According to unconfirmed information, pre-orders for the new product from Microsoft will be opened on June 2.
