Asus ROG Phone 6 is caught on camera with cooling fan

ASUS ROG Phone 6 was leaked once more. But this time with a cooling fan case, thanks to which it looks quite massive. Phone renders, courtesy of Evan Blass. The phone has a similar design aesthetic to previous ROG phones, but the accessory itself looks bigger than ever.

Every year, ASUS graces us with, what it considers, the best gaming phone in the world. There are only a few days left before the company officially presents the 6th generation of the phone. However, thanks to Evan Blass and 91Mobiles, we can already look at it in all its glory. ASUS ROG Phone 6 looks just stunning in the renders leaked today.

It seems that this year ASUS won’t change its design formula. If you liked or hated the previous ROG Phone, then most likely you will feel the same about the 6th-gen phone. It is noteworthy that ASUS has moved the secondary display, so everyone around you can see it, while you’re playing. This is a nice touch.

Of course, if you’re using a cooling accessory, you won’t be able to see anything on the rear display of the ASUS ROG Phone 6. This year, cooling fan is absolutely massive, probably to help cool the hot new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC inside the phone.

Renders also allow you to see two available colors of the phone – black & white. Asus decided to go the usual route there, as almost all the previous ROG phones were available in these 2 colors.

Previous leaks claimed that the ROG Phone 6 can be equipped with a 6.78″ AMOLED screen with a whooping 165 Hz refresh rate. It is also rumored to sport a 6000 mAh battery with 65W wired charging, up to 18 GB of RAM, up to 512 GB of storage, and a headphone jack.

ASUS is expected to officially unveil the ROG Phone 6 on July 5, 2022.
