Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra might bring 4K video support at 120fps

The launch of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is drawing closer and here are some videography details now available. According to the new reports regarding this coming device, it might launch with 4K video recording support. In addition to this, users will be able to record at 120fps, enabling them to capture more details in videos.

By recording at 120fps, the coming Samsung flagship device will double the videography performance of its predecessor. Yes, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra from last year records 4K videos at 60fps. This is a limitation on this device’s part because the lens it uses supports recording at up to 120fps, but it’s held back by software limitations.

According to Ice Universe, a popular X tipster, this 4K 120 fps video recording is already in testing. While this feature sounds interesting and will greatly improve videography on the S24 Ultra, its availability at launch is still uncertain. Ice Universe points out that the video recording feature might not be preserved on the S24 Ultra for launch.

If this feature makes the launch, then it will join the rumoured 5x telephoto lens that the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is said to launch with. In the coming weeks, we’ll see the launch of this flagship series from Samsung. At launch, users might also be impressed by other things that aren’t related to photography.

Other reports claim that the S24 series might offer some interesting gifts. These gifts range from the Galaxy Watch or the Buds FE, which will pair up perfectly with the devices. More details on these coming devices will be revealed in the coming days.
