Xiaomi 12S

Xiaomi 12S received a 6.28″ 120 Hz FHD+ AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 1100 nits and support for Dolby Vision, covered by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC is at heart of the device, with the following memory combinations available: 8+128 GB, 8+256 GB, 12+512 GB.

Leica-branded Wide 50 MP camera, 13 MP ultrawide, 5 MP telemacro and front 32 MP cameras are responsible for the photos and videos. The battery is 4500 mAh, with support of 67W Fast wired charging, 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse-wireless charging. MIUI 13 based on Android 12 is installed out of the box. Connectivity-wise the phone supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2. Harmon Kardon stereo speakers are again responsible for the sound, of course there is NFC, an IR blaster, and a USB Type-C connector. Chinese price starts from RMB 3,999 or $595. Global availability and prices are yet unknown.

Xiaomi 12S Pro

The 12S Pro upgrades the screen to 6.73″120 Hz QHD+ AMOLED LTPO 2.0 panel with up to 1500 nits of brightness, Dolby Vision support and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. Powering the phone is the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Memory options are 8+128 GB, 8+256 GB, 12+256 GB, 12+512 GB.

Leica-branded camera module has also received an upgrade: in addition to 50 MP wide, there’s now a 50 MP Ultrawide and a 50 MP telephoto camera. Selfie shooter remained the same: 32 MP.

The battery is now 4600 mAh, and wired charging has been pumped up to 120W, with 50W wireless and 10W reverse-wireless charging being the same as in the base model. Other specs are also the same across the 2 models.

Starting price is RMB 4,699 or $700. And again, no global availability or prices were revealed.

Xiaomi 12S Ultra

Xiaomi 12S Ultra keeps 12S Pro screen – it’s the same 6.73″120 Hz QHD+ AMOLED LTPO 2.0 with up to 1500 nits of brightness, Dolby Vision support and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. It also keeps Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, but offers less RAM/Storage options: 8+256 GB, 12+256 GB, 12+512 GB

While ultrawide and telephoto cameras have not received a significant upgrade from Mi 11 Ultra (yes, both are still 48MP modules), the wide module is now a brand-new 1″ Sony IMX989 with 50 MP resolution and 8P lenses. It was specifically developed for 12S Ultra and fine-tuned by Leica.

Other specs are the same as 12S and 12S Pro. But the price is now a whooping RMB 5,999, or $893. Unfortunately to get this device you have to import it from China, as sources close to the matter report that global release of 12S Ultra is not planned.

Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro

As many believed, when Smart Band 7 was released, there’s a premium version on the way. And they were right. Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro offers a premium aluminium body, a larger screen, and additional features that allow it to stand out from the cheaper Smart Band 7 model.

Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro

In terms of features, Smart Band 7 Pro offers everything you get with the more affordable Smart Band 7, including continuous heart rate tracking, sleep monitoring, SpO² monitoring, and various exercise modes. In addition, it offers support for smart messages, music and camera control, a phone finder function, NFC for contactless payment capabilities and support for voice commands. But the most important thing is that the device will come with a built-in GPS chip.

Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro features a 1.64-inch AMOLED screen with a pixel density of 326 PPI and support for always-on display. It comes with over 180 built-in watch faces, 117 sports modes covering both outdoor and indoor sports, and, as we said, a GPS support. Unlike the Xiaomi Smart Band 7, the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro comes in a single variant with NFC available as a standard feature. Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro is also waterproof up to 5 ATM.

The new Xiaomi Mi Band 7 Pro is already available in China. It comes in two case colors with six bright silicone straps at a starting price of RMB 399 (approximately $60).
