Xiaomi Motors is set to ramp up production of the SU7 to meet demand

After an impressive launch sale of the SU7 saloon, Xiaomi Motors is now moving to bigger things. Due to the massive demand for this new and affordable electric saloon in China, Xiaomi is finding it hard to meet demands. For this reason, the automobile manufacturer is planning to ramp up production so that it can get more vehicles out to buyers within the year.

Today, the brand has already started deliveries of the first batch of vehicles from its factory. For now, the monthly production target of this new electric saloon might not be sufficient. Last month Xiaomi worked to roll out 3000 vehicles from the production plant.

This month, the brand is aiming to step up its production to about 5000 vehicles. The production increase will help to serve the pre-orders that the brand has had ever since the launch of this electric saloon last month. By the end of the year, Xiaomi Motors aims to roll out more than 6000 vehicles per month.

However Xiaomi aims to reach a production capacity of 10,000 vehicles, but this is dependent on their suppliers. At the production rate the tech giant is moving, it’ll be able to meet the demands of its customers around China. Considering that this is Xiaomi’s first vehicle, it will be a great choice to cut the brand some slack as they might not meet their target fully.

Additionally, there might also be some areas where this vehicle might not meet the requirements of buyers. But Xiaomi Motors promises to give the very best in the production of the SU7 to meet the current demand, which is soaring at 100,000 pre-orders in China. Throughout this year, deliveries of this new electric saloon will continue across China.
