The design of the coming HMD phone might have been leaked on the brand’s official website. A few days ago, an image of a woman casually sitting on an enlarged image of what seems to be a smartphone became available on the Nokia website. This image showed off the camera cutout of the device as well as the HMD logo that sits on the rear panel of the device.
Our sources believe that this image depicts one of the devices that HMD is preparing to launch in the coming weeks. The design language of this device is somewhat similar to that of the previous Nokia Lumia devices from years back. However, the camera cutout of the device in this image seems more up-to-date than what the Lumia brings to the table in comparison with newer smartphones on the market.
Aside from the design of the device that this image shows a bit off, it also gives away an important specification. Looking closely at the image, you’ll notice that it states that the device has a 108MP main camera sensor. Yes, on the rectangular camera cutout, you can see that this coming device will launch with a massive 108MP sensor for taking pictures.
According to our sources, on the Nokia website where this image is on display, there is a video showing off the device, but this isn’t available for viewing. Nokia fans as well as netizens around the world are anticipating this coming HMD phone that has been giving some sleepless nights. HMD promises that their coming devices that’ll launch this year will not only be budget entries but also “durable, fun, secure, fast and…….the whole package.”
Before the end of the year, we expect to see the launch of this mysterious device but we barely have a glimpse of its design. Once available netizens might be able to purchase these devices directly from Nokia’s official website. More details on this coming device might be available at the upcoming MWC event to take place in Barcelona in the coming weeks.
