Let me start by telling you a little bit about the FIFINE brand itself. Founded in 2009, it is a manufacturer of premium audio technology, namely audio equipment, microphones and accessories. The company’s high-quality products are popular in the markets of Europe, the US, and Asia. The brand offers reliable products and convenient service, which we can be sure of, as we have two full-size gaming headsets – FIFINE Ampligame H6 and H9. Let’s take a closer look at them and compare them so you can choose the best one for you.
Both models of headphones are positioned as gaming headphones that fulfil all the requirements of gamers. However, they have a lot of differences, starting with their appearance and ending with the features available to users. Let’s briefly outline what exactly we are going to talk about:
You can already see at a glance that the accessories are different from each other, but do these and other differences affect their performance? This is what we need to establish in the course of the review.
FIFINE H6 and H9 gaming headsets are practical and affordable models in the mid-budget segment. They will be an ideal option for those who are looking for functional accessories without unnecessary frills, for which they usually raise the price. Both models are designed for comfort during the game, because they provide high quality and clarity of sound, but we will talk more about it later in the text.
On the official FIFINE website the following prices for the headphones are announced:
In our opinion, the specified prices are fully justified. After using them for some time, namely, playing online games, listening to music and watching films, we can say without looking at the specifications that we have a high-quality and comfortable product that is worth its money.
The headphones are delivered in small branded boxes in a pleasant blue and lilac colour. Each box contains the accessories themselves, which are secured by cardboard holders sandwiched between the headphone housings. Let’s see what’s inside:
As you can see, the sets are minimalistic, but they have all the components that will satisfy users. Now let’s smoothly move on to the reviews of each model separately, which will allow you to understand the differences between the headphones.

This is a gaming headphone with RGB backlighting and 7.1 surround sound support that delivers powerful and clear sound during gaming battles. The headset is suitable for PC gaming as well as all modern gaming consoles except Xbox.
We must say that the headphones look premium, especially the model in white colour. The main elements of the accessory are made of plastic, but inside there is a metal construction, which guarantees reliability and durability of the device.
The ear cushions and headband are made of light grey synthetic leather (we have the White model in our review), which breathes and prevents your ears from sweating. The ear cushions fit comfortably on the head, and fit snugly to the ears without pressing on them at all. The headband is adjustable to fit all head sizes and shapes.
The headphones do not dangle, do not slip if you bend down with them, that is, they sit very comfortably. As for the assembly, there are no complaints about it: nothing creaks, no element does not wobble, which gives additional comfort and does not distract with extraneous noise from the game.
Thanks to 50mm dynamic drivers with 24-bit depth, sounds are reproduced over a wide range and create an incredibly realistic sound in any scenario. The clear bass in Game mode with the 7.1 effect enabled provides 100 per cent navigation during gameplay, meaning the gamer will be able to hear where the enemy is and react instantly to their actions. In addition to passing, the headphones are comfortable to listen to music: the convenience of the accessory, volumetric, high-quality sound gives unrivalled sensations, as if listening to a concert live.
This headset supports three modes:
The modes are switched using the side button on the multimedia remote control. A single press is enough to change the selected mode to another. This is convenient because the remote control is located on the headphone cable, so it’s always close at hand.
The detachable microphone on a flexible wire, tuned to midrange frequencies, broadcasts your voice clearly under all circumstances. Its design is made in such a way that the user can easily adjust the microphone to suit himself, so that the voice is transmitted as clearly and without interference as possible. Having tested the device in a game, we can safely say that it really is very high-quality and detailed voice broadcasting.

The remote control, which is located on the cable, allows the following settings:
The markings on the back of the control box will help you navigate these settings better. The only disadvantage of the remote control is that it can pull the cable down and slightly interfere with playing games or listening to music. I would like it to be a bit more compact, but in general you can get used to this solution.
This model has RGB backlighting, which gives the headphones a stylish look, but does not fulfil any other function. It cannot be set or switched off, so it exists only as an additional decoration. The backlight is not very bright, but it is noticeable in a dark room. It makes the accessory look more interesting and attractive.
Let’s move on to the FIFINE H9, a gaming headset with 7.1 surround sound. It will be an ideal solution for fans of comfort and high-quality sound. The accessory is compatible with PC and game consoles Microsoft Xbox One, Microsoft Xbox Series X|S, Sony PlayStation 4, Sony PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. Thanks to the 3.5mm cable, it can also be connected to smartphones and tablets with the corresponding connector.
FIFINE H9 has an understated, classic design that will appeal to gamers who prioritise convenience over the appearance of accessories. The headset is made of plastic and has a sturdy metal body. The headband and ear cushions are wrapped in soft faux leather that is pleasant to the touch. The ear cups cover the ears well, isolating from external noise, while they do not press at all. The accessory has a non-removable 3.5 mm cable, to which you can additionally attach a USB adapter with remote control. It also acts as a cable extender. The total length of the cable is 2 metres.
The headset has 50 mm speakers with a frequency range of 20 Hz-20 kHz, which guarantee clear and powerful sound. The 7.1 effect allows you to fully immerse yourself in the world of the game. Thanks to this, players will clearly hear every movement or shot around them. The effect can be switched on by pressing the round button on the control box, which is located on the headphone cord. In general, the sound of the headset is not bad, but it is dominated by high frequencies, because of which you have to make the sound a little quieter than usual.
You can connect a -42 dB microphone to communicate with your team in the game. It transmits your voice clearly and without interference, especially if you customise it by bending and twisting the flexible wire to your liking.
It’s quite simple and straightforward, with volume buttons, 7.1 effect activation and the ability to switch the microphone on/off. To keep the unit out of the way while playing, there is a clip on the back of the unit that allows you to hook it to your clothes.

In the end, we can say that FIFINE H6 is more functional than FIFINE H9 due to the presence of three modes, breathable ear cushion material and beautiful backlighting. However, the second headphones have a 3.5mm cable with a USB adapter and the ability to connect them to the Xbox. The differences may not be that significant, but they will be important for those who have certain requirements for headphones. You can not unequivocally say that one headset is better than the other, because it will be a purely subjective impression. Therefore, the choice is still up to the users.
