After months of waiting patiently for the Tesla Model 3 Performance, we are finally seeing the vehicle launch. Unlike the regular Model 3 this Performance model packs a punch and more beefy specifications. In this article, we’ll have a look at this new entry into the Model 3 line-up and compare it with the non-performance variant.

For its power, the new Tesla Model 3 Performance comes with 510Hp and 741Nm worth of torque. In a car with this amount of power, the driver will want to get up and go right off the line. This is possible thanks to the acceleration of this car which takes it from 0-97km/h in under 3 seconds.

The new and more powerful Tesla Model 3 entry can also reach top speeds of 262km/h which some drivers won’t ever get to. However, It’s great to see that the EV brand packs this type of speed into their new performance entry into the Model 3 line-up. Aside from its speed this vehicle also comes with a different chassis built specifically for the Performance model.

This chassis brings more performance, comfort, and overall a better driving experience to potential buyers. On the inside, the Tesla Model 3 Performance comes with new sports seats and more system controls for the driver. All of this brings this vehicle’s price up to $53,000 before options and this is more than the regular Tesla Model 3.

The normal Model 3 comes with a top speed of 201km/h, makes 283Hp and 450Nms of torque. Drivers of this vehicle can hit 100km/h in under 6.1 seconds, and it retails for $39,000 before options. So clearly you can see that the Tesla Model 3 Performance is a clear upgrade from the other entry in its line-up.
