While a complete departure from the V8 and V12 engine line-up might not be the case, we expect to see the first EV entry from Ferrari next year. The CEO of Ferrari, Benedetto Vigna, points out that this coming EV is to launch towards the end of 2025 and kick off deliveries in 2026. He also goes on to point out that testing of the EV is already on the way and feedback is coming in from the various test drivers.

With this feedback, Ferrari aims to sculpt this coming EV to match the brand’s image and driving experience on the road. Sightings of this coming Ferrari EV show off its SUV silhouette, it might be the brand’s second SUV. The Purosangue, Ferrari’s first SUV, launched back in 2022 and ever since then has come to be loved by many.

If this coming Ferrari EV is to succeed as the second SUV from the Italian performance luxury brand, then it needs to pack a punch. This vehicle will need to match the performance of other performance electric SUVs. Yes, the likes of the Porsche Taycan 4S, Porsche Macan Turbo Electric, and the Lotus Eletre will be in direct competition with this coming Ferrari EV.
