Jaguar F-Pace will be the only model in the line-up as the I-Pace and E-Pace are axed

As a result of the poor sales performance of some Jaguar models, the brand is only retaining the Jaguar F-Pace while axing all other entries in the line-up. This information comes as a shock to the automotive industry, as the Jaguar Pace line-up has come to be loved by a lot of automobile enthusiasts over the years. But all other Pace models except the F-Pace entry performed poorly in sales last year and aren’t doing any better this year.

Last year, the Jaguar F-Pace outsold all other Pace models put together. Now, that’s an impressive achievement for just one entry in a line-up of over three vehicle entries. This goes to show that buyers are more interested in the F-Pace than they are in any other model from the United Kingdom automobile manufacturer.

Jaguar F-Pace

As a response to this sales performance, the United Kingdom automobile maker is axing its entire line-up, leaving just the F-Pace entry. According to a spokesperson of the firm, “We are eliminating five products, all lower value.” The main reason for this move is not making money from any of the other vehicles, so Jaguar is “replacing them with new vehicles on newly designed architectures.”

While we wait for the arrival of these new vehicles that will use a new architecture, buyers will only get a new Jaguar F-Pace. The new era of Jaguar that we await is the all-electric entry of vehicles that’ll hit the launch stage next year. Possibly next year, we’ll also get to see an all-electric Jaguar F-Pace model.

With no vehicle in production except for the F-Pace, Jaguar is working on a plan to have enough models in supply for buyers. This will also give the production team space to work on the new electric era of the luxury brand. By next year, we’ll get to see newer vehicles from the brand that will aim to disrupt the automobile performance industry.
