Kia EV4 is set to go into production in the first quarter of 2025

-

With an electric future in mind, the Kia EV4 will go into production next year as it joins the EV3, EV6, and EV9 entries.  As the race for electrification continues, we see more brands just like Kia electrify their line-up. Already, Kia has about three pure electric vehicles, with the EV5 preparing for official launch and the EV4 heading for the production plant in March 2025.

From the available concepts on this new device, we expect it to borrow a thing or two from the Kia EV6. Already the Kia EV3, the coming Kia EV5, and the Kia EV9 are all electric traditional SUVs with the EV9 being the largest SUV of the pack. However, the EV6 stands out with its unique eye-catching crossover SUV styling that is shaped not like a traditional SUV.

The concept designs of the coming Kia EV4 show that it will follow the design language of the EV6. It will be a smaller entry with different headlights and tail lights design, as well as a more sloping roofline. Previous information on this vehicle points out that it might sit in the saloon class and not the SUV class.

Already, some spy shots of this vehicle’s prototypes have hit the internet, revealing its overall shape. Kia is preparing to kick off production of the EV4 in its domestic plant, and the brand still contemplates offshore production. This coming EV will aim to be a competitive entry into the industry and its styling, performance, and pricing might be strong points for it to win over buyers.

Already there’s information that this coming vehicle will be at a sub $35,000 price point, making it a head-turning. With over 70,000 units to be ready by the end of 2025, we expect to see impressive sales performance for this vehicle. Its major competitors in the EV industry will be the Tesla Model 3, BYD Seal, and the Hyundai Ioniq 6 just to mention a few.
