Peugeot ChatGPT system is now rolling out to vehicles around the world

-

The Peugeot ChatGPT system is now rolling out to the French automobile brand’s newer vehicles. This includes electric vehicles as well as fuel-driven cars that the brand makes. As it turns out, about 10,000 Peugeot users who tried out the system came to love it and now the brand is preparing to give all their users access to the system.

Peugeot is bringing ChatGPT to the voice assistant system on their vehicles (in 17 markets across Europe) for usage while driving. This will help to step up the driving experience of the users of Peugeot vehicles around the world. With the artificial intelligence system, Peugeot vehicles can get real-time information from the Peugeot i-Cockpit while driving.

From the available reports, we learn that this new ChatGPT integration will first make its way to the new Peugeot e-208, e-2008, e-308, e-408, e-508, and other entries. Later this year, the e-3008 and larger e-5008 will also get access to this feature for usage at launch. For existing customers, this new system will arrive on their vehicles via an over-the-air (OTA) upgrade to the car’s smart system.

While this system will not have control over on-board features, it’ll help answer various user questions. These questions can include navigation guidance or basic questions on various topics. If you own a newer Peugeot and wish to have access to this feature, you will pay either €120 per year for the Connect Plus pack or €15 per year to have it as a standalone feature.

Purchasing a new Peugeot will give you access to the Connect Plus pack for six months free of charge. This isn’t the first ChatGPT integration that we’ve seen on a major automobile brand in recent times. Over the coming month, we might see more brands adopt ChatGPT on their various smart systems.
