Zeekr CX1E might aim blows at the Tesla Model Y once it hits the launch stage

-

The Zeekr CX1E is a codename for the Chinese EV maker’s upcoming crossover SUV that is preparing to hit the launch stage soon. Images of this coming vehicle show off its silhouette as well as a peak of the vehicle’s daytime running lights as well as its tail lights. From the available images, we can expect this vehicle to be a family-friendly crossover SUV that will aim for the competition in not only performance but also in styling once it hits the launch stage.

Despite hiding behind some press wraps, this coming crossover SUV shows off some of the tech it packs. At the top of the vehicle, just above the windscreen, you’ll find the LiDAR sensor which will aid autonomous driving. At the vehicle’s sides, you’ll also find some cameras that sit above the wheel arches that will also help with hands-free driving.

Some reports are spotting similarities between this coming Zeekr CX1E and the already existing Zeekr 007. If you aren’t already aware, the Zeekr 007 is an electric saloon that some media outlets have said to be better than the Tesla Model 3 in every way. A close look at this electric saloon from Zeekr and you’ll notice similar daytime running lights as well as tail lights.

So if the Zeekr 007 is as good or even better than the Tesla Model 3, then how will the coming Zeekr CX1E perform in comparison with the Tesla Model Y? While the information on this coming Chinese crossover SUV remains bleak at this point, it is possible that it’ll launch with a 75kWh battery pack. There is also a possibility that the Zeekr CX1E will hit the launch stage, flaunting 600 horsepower.

If this is the case then Elon Musk needs to brace up as the CX1E might obliterate the Model Y. But, close consideration of Zeekr’s launch plan over the next two years might leave a possibility that this coming vehicle might not ship outside China. We’ll get more information on this coming vehicle over the coming weeks.
