Acer today announced 19 new products for CES 2024, including additions to the popular Swift and Aspire laptops. The Swift line was replenished with three new models: Swift Go 16, Swift Go 14 and Swift X 14. And four new laptops appeared in the Aspire series: Aspire Vero 16, Go 15, Go 14 Intel and Go 14 AMD.
The new Swift notebooks now have even more powerful processors and AI support, making them much more productive, comfortable and more usable for work, play, study and content creation. Aspire laptops with Windows 11 OS have different efficiency indicators and design features so that everyone can choose the best option for themselves.
Acer Swift Go: OLED display, Wi-Fi 7 and AI
Acer Swift Go 16 (SFG16-72) and Swift Go 14 (SFG14-73) models are equipped with new Intel Core Ultra processors and Intel Arc graphics cards. The 14″ model can work up to 12.5 hours, and the 16″ laptop can last up to 10.5 hours. New devices offer access to Copilot on Windows – you can go to its use with one press of the special Copilot key. In addition, owners will be able to use AI functions to optimize work, creative and gaming processes.
Notebooks have a thin aluminium case that can be opened by 180°. Some models of the Swift Go 14 can be equipped with a multifunctional touch panel with a backlight or an OceanGlass touch panel. The working area of both panels has been increased by 44%. The new Swift Go features OLED displays with a peak brightness of 500 nits, DisplayHDRTM True Black 500 and TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe certification. The Swift Go 16 features a 16-inch 3.2K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the Swift Go 14 sports a 14-inch 2.8K OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
Both have a 1440p QHD webcam with support for AI-powered Acer PurifiedView and PurifiedVoice 2.0 technologies and three microphones. They support up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory and have dual slots for installing PCIe Gen 4 SSDs up to 2 TB. They also have two USB Type-C ports with Thunderbolt support (both with fast charging), USB Type-A, an HDMI 2.1 connector, a MicroSD card reader, and Bluetooth LE Audio. In addition, Intel Wi-Fi 7 provides 2.4 times faster connection speed than Wi-Fi 6E.
The new Acer Swift X 14 (SFX14-72G) is equipped with the latest Intel Core Ultra processors, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series notebook graphics cards and a 2.8K OLED panel. AI functions facilitate broadcasting, video editing and 3D rendering. NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 technology with AI-based beam reconstruction improves lighting effects and increases resolution in games and applications. Swift X 14 is certified by NVIDIA Studio, includes pre-installed NVIDIA Studio drivers and has a dedicated Copilot button.
The 14.5-inch OLED 2.8K display with Calman certification accurately reproduces colours, has a brightness of 500 nits, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 500 certification and supports Acer Light Sensing technology. Added to this is an FHD webcam with support for TNR AI video noise reduction technology, PurifiedView and PurifiedVoice 2.0 technologies and three microphones. The new product also has two USB Type-C ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, a MicroSD card reader, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth LE Audio. Swift X 14 is equipped with LPDDR5X memory up to 32 GB and 4th generation SSDs up to 1 TB.
Aspire Vero 16: Eco-friendly PC with AI
Acer Aspire Vero 16 (AV16-51P) on the Intel Evo Edition platform is equipped with Intel Core Ultra 7 processors with Intel AI Boost technology, which guarantees flawless PC operation and up to 10.5 hours of battery life. The notebook has a 16-inch WQXGA (2560×1600) display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and thin bezels, supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth LE Audio, and has two USB Type-C ports (Thunderbolt 4 and USB 4) and a HDMI 2.1.
Aspire Vero 16 laptops are equipped with AcerSense to manage battery usage, power saving and productivity modes, as well as Intel Unison 2.0, which integrates multiple devices on a single screen. The models are equipped with a 1440p QHD webcam with support for Acer PurifiedVoice AI technology and a 16GB LPDDR5 memory module with the option of installing two additional PCIe Gen 4 SSDs up to 2TB.
The body of the Aspire Vero 16 has a pleasant texture and consists of 60% recycled materials. The Aspire Vero 16’s list of environmental benefits includes an OceanGlass touch panel made from ocean plastic, packaging made from recycled materials and EPEAT Gold registration.
Aspire Go: affordability and ease of use
The new Aspire Go laptops are versatile devices for home use. The Aspire Go 15 (AG15-31P) and Aspire Go 14 (AG14-31P) models are equipped with Intel Core i3 N-Series processors, while the Aspire Go 14 (AG14-21P) can be equipped with AMD Ryzen 7000 Series processors. All models support LPDDR5 RAM up to 16 GB and SSD M.2 PCIe 3rd generation up to 1 TB.
The devices have narrow bezels, aspect ratios up to 16:10 and WUXGA (Aspire Go 14) and FHD (Aspire Go 15) displays. They have built-in Copilot in Windows, TNR support, Acer PurifiedVoice and two microphones. The laptops also support AcerSense technology to optimize space, BlueLightShield technology that takes care of eye protection, and Wi-Fi 6. In addition, Aspire Go 15 and Go 14 are environmentally friendly: the cover and packaging are made of recyclable materials, and the devices have certificates from Energy Star and EPEAT Silver.

- The Acer Swift Go 16 (SFG16-72/T) laptop will go on sale in Ukraine at the end of March for UAH 41,999, and the Swift Go 14 (SFG14-73/T) will appear at the end of March for UAH 40,999

- Aspire Go 14 notebooks with an Intel processor (AG14-31P) will appear in Europe, the Middle East and Africa in March for €549. The Aspire Go 14 with an AMD processor (AG14-21P) will appear in Europe, the Middle East and Africa in March and will cost from €649. The date of arrival in Ukraine will be known later.
