A picture is worth a thousand words, and a video, even if it’s about 9 seconds long, is worth even more. We will remind you that we recently wrote that renderings of the future Motorola Edge 50 Ultra flagship, as well as some technical details, appeared on the Internet. Thanks to this, it became clear that the Edge 50 Pro model would not be the top device of the future Edge 50 line.
And now the well-known insider Evan Blass has published several teasers on his Twitter page, which allow us to have a closer look at the design of the future Edge 50 Ultra. Yes, the premiere of this smartphone is already very soon, but why not take advantage of the opportunity and find out the details earlier?

According to previous leaks, the Edge 50 Ultra should get a curved display, and the teaser confirms it. The smartphone in the frame has a curved screen with incredibly thin frames, which harmonizes with the back panel. The curved display is expected to be a 6.7-inch panel with a 165Hz refresh rate. It also shows a single hole for the front camera. The panel will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, and the high level of strength is hinted at by stones that fly on the screen and leave no traces on it.
On the back panel, if you believe the video, a triple camera is installed, which includes the main 50 MP sensor and a periscope lens. The ultra-wide-angle module also has a 50-megapixel sensor. In addition, there are two other small cutouts in the camera module – we can assume that these are for the microphone and depth sensors that help with autofocus.
The Edge 50 Ultra will most likely run on the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. It will be interesting to see if it has enough power to challenge the Galaxy S24 and its Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
The premium Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, soon to be launched as the X50 Ultra in select markets, is expected to launch globally alongside the Edge 50 Pro and Edge 50 Fusion as early as tomorrow, April 3. The smartphone will be available in three colours: classic black, Sisal, which is similar to beige, and trendy Peach Fuzz. It is Pantone’s colour of the year in 2024. The Peach Fuzz and Black models have a vegan leather back panel, while the light beige Edge 50 Ultra has a matte finish, with the light colour flowing smoothly from the back panel to the camera module.
