Well-known insider Revegnus1 shared on his Twitter page Apple’s roadmap, which includes products to be released between 2023 and 2027.
According to her, this year we should see the launch of the Vision Pro and the first OLED iPad. Both events have already happened. In February, the “spatial computer” Apple Vision Pro went on sale, and just last week the first iPads with an OLED panel were announced: the 11-inch iPad Pro (2024) and the 13-inch iPad Pro (2024).
The roadmap also reports that the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will receive an increase in RAM from the 6 GB used in the iPhone 15 models to 8 GB. Then they will match the Pro versions, which already have 8 GB of RAM. And last November, the analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, known for his accurate predictions, said that the iPhone 16 Pro would receive a periscope camera with 5x optical zoom. This is also on the road map.
The 2024 section of the map also lists larger screen sizes for the iPhone 16 Pro models and mentions the tandem OLED display used in the new iPad Pro (2024) models. Thanks to the use of two layers of OLED, the screen will become brighter and more durable.
This roadmap provides a lot of insight.

But the most interesting thing awaits us ahead. Next year, according to the published map, the iPhone SE 4 will appear with a 6.1-inch display and a 48-megapixel camera. There are no other parameters, but we have repeatedly written about this device and its expected characteristics. iPhone 17 Pro models are expected to feature triple 48-megapixel cameras, as well as a front-facing 48-megapixel FaceTime camera with OIS. The introduction of a Pol-less display will make the iPhone thinner and its screen brighter.
What will 2026 bring us? According to the roadmap, Apple fans should expect a foldable iPhone with a 6-inch outer screen and an 8-inch inner display. It is interesting because insiders previously called other dates and other folding devices. The iPhone will also start using LLW DRAM memory, which will be characterized by low latency and low power consumption.
Here is the progress of Apple's foldable devices:
– Small-scale production in 2025
– Large-scale supply in 2026
– 65 million units in 2027
– 100 million units in 2028
– Expected public release by late 2025 or early 2026
– Two specifications available: 7.9 inches & 8.3 inches— J. Reve (@Revegnus1) May 14, 2024
iPhone 17 Pro models will be equipped with the Face ID function. In 2026, Apple will also introduce a 10.9-inch iPad Air tablet with an OLED panel and an iPad mini with an 8.4-inch OLED display. Also this year, the manufacturer plans to release 14- and 16-inch MacBooks with OLED panels.
In 2027 or 2028, the tech giant is going to release the long-awaited augmented reality glasses, and in 2028, according to the roadmap, a 20-inch foldable iPad may appear on the market. Well, we have a lot of interesting things ahead of us.
