The ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra flagship smartphone is preparing to launch, and its details are already available. This device will pack full flagship-level specifications, putting it in solid competition with some of the best flagship devices currently available for purchase. Coming with the Ultra name tag, this coming device might differ from its predecessor by killing off an identifying mark the Zenfone 10 has.
Coming to the details of this device’s display, we learn that it’ll launch with a massive 6.78-inch screen size. This is a drift away from the compact and pretty screen size of the Zenfone 10 from last year. With this change, ASUS might be aiming to compete with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, the iPhone 15 Pro Max, and other chunky flagship devices.
The renders of this device’s design make it look like a less gamer-ish version of the ROG Phone 8 Pro. For snappy response, this device will support a 144Hz refresh rate on its FHD+ AMOLED LTPO display panel. To support this snappy response, this device will house the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor under its hood as the sign of a true Android flagship device.
Paring the impressive performance of the processor with 16GB LPDDR5x RAM (more than what I have on my laptop) this device promises to pack a serious punch. The ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra might launch with a triple rear camera sensor housing a 50MP main sensor, 13MP ultrawide, and 32MP telephoto lens. For the selfie lens, users will get a 32MP sensor, both the front and rear sensors on this device are upgrades in comparison with its predecessor.
To support this performance, the device will have a 5500mAh battery capacity with 15W fast charging (ASUS isn’t a big advocate of fast charging). It’ll also run a simple Android 14 version with little customization from the company. When it comes to pricing, this device tops out at $1143, and it’ll launch in a few days.
