The company claims that the earbuds will be able to work for up to 11 hours on a single charge. Beyerdynamic also claims you’ll get up to 70 minutes of additional listening time after 10 minutes of charging in the headphone case.

Each earbud has two microphones. Your voice should sound clear when talking, as Beyerdynamic backs up its claim of high speech clarity “even in noisy environments”. Free Byrd is compatible with Fast Pair on Android, there is also support for Alexa and Siri voice assistants. A low-latency mode for games and videos is also there.

While some may suggest that Beyerdynamic is late to the TWS earbuds market, the company attributes its slowness to a focused effort to create a quality product. “We’re proud to have prioritized sound quality over market pressures,” Beyerdynamic CEO Edgar van Velzen said in a statement. “and with this time taken, have successfully achieved a new level of development in sound performance, offering audio enthusiasts the perfect pair of in-ear [true wireless] earbuds that look and feel as great as they sound.”
