Geely Zeekr is already making some big plans for 2024 as it aims to step up its game in the EV space. According to the EV manufacturer, it is making plans to double its vehicle deliveries in comparison with last year’s deliveries. In 2023 Zeekr was able to deliver over 118,685 EVs in various regions where its business exists.
One dominant area where this EV brand’s business operates is in its local market in Asia. However, it still creeps into other regions like Europe and the Middle East, where buyers are searching for more affordable EV options to purchase. In these regions, Zeekr products have been met with welcoming arms, as a good number of vehicles were sold in these areas last year.
This year Geely Zeekr is doubling the pressure and going harder as it plans to deliver 230,000 EVs, hence stepping up its game. This means that this year we’ll see some business expansion moves from this Chinese EV manufacturer as it spreads its wings into the global market. Of major focus to its business might be areas where it already sells its vehicles, as it might work hard to strengthen its presence in these regions.
While this goal of doubling vehicle delivery this year is impressive, there are some concerns about whether this goal is feasible. Already Geely Zeekr failed to meet their sales goal for last year as they only delivered 118,685 vehicles as against their 140,000 goal. Despite failing to meet this goal, their deliveries for last year were an improvement from the previous year.
