GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY has introduced the B650E AORUS PRO X USB4 multifunctional motherboard with two USB4 ports and a set of advanced functions. It will allow you to fully appreciate the advantages of the AMD AM5 platform.
The USB4 interface has become one of the most important components of the new generation AM5 platform specification. Thanks to it, a high speed of uninterrupted signal transmission is ensured, the ability to connect various hardware such as Ultra HD displays, and it also has the necessary means for fast charging of peripherals and compact mobile devices.
The B650E AORUS PRO X USB4 motherboard is equipped with two USB4 ports, each with a bandwidth of at least 40Gbps, and the 40Gbps channel bandwidth can be fully used for data streaming, unlike Thunderbolt 4. Together with this, the manufacturer equipped the new motherboard with a 2.5 GbE LAN controller and Wi-Fi 7 wireless module, which features GIGABYTE’s signature antennas with an ultra-high gain factor.
The B650E AORUS PRO X USB4 features exclusive software-hardware solutions that should appeal to PC-building enthusiasts. In particular, as part of the new EZ-Debug Zone section, a group of LED indicators of POST codes and control buttons are localized, which determines the convenience of performing searches and troubleshooting during system debugging. The WIFI EZ-Plug design combines the antenna connectors of the Wi-Fi module in one block.
In addition, Sensor Panel Link capabilities allow connecting a branded touch panel to the built-in video output for monitoring key system parameters. The PCIe EZ-Latch Plus, M.2 EZ-Latch Click, and M.2 EZ-Latch Plus latches allow quick, tool-free installation of a discrete PCIe graphics card, solid-state drive, and heatsinks for M.2 devices. The modernized UC BIOS shell is a customer-oriented product, with an updated interface that will increase the convenience of working with BIOS Setup options, including quick access to configurable options.
The motherboard also has a digital VRM module with a 16-phase power circuit, up to 80 A load per phase and intelligent monitoring of key parameters. It will help reveal the performance of AMD Ryzen processors of the new generation. The improved cooling system includes a new radiator and a heat pipe in direct contact with the VRM area, as well as a branded M.2 Thermal Guard radiator for effective heat removal and maintaining a comfortable temperature regime of key subsystems even during increased load.
