Google Pixel 8a launches silently with cool AI features but no price change

-

The Google Pixel 8a has hit the brand’s official website, showing off its amazing features as well as its impressive pricing. Just like other devices in the Pixel 8 series, this new entry comes with some impressive AI features that might blow your mind away. While this device is yet to hit the launch stage, Google Pixel fans and other potential buyers can pre-order this device right now from the Made by Google website.

Unlike its predecessor (Google Pixel 7a) and the entry before it, the new Pixel 8a comes with a different design approach. Just like the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro, this entry from Google also features more rounded edges. This makes it a bit more beautiful in terms of its design and also easier to grip since its edges don’t poke out as much as with its predecessors.

For performance, this device comes with the Google Tensor G3 processor, 8GB RAM, and up to 256GB storage. Previous Pixel A-series devices didn’t come with up to 256GB storage capacity, so it’s great to see this device hit the launch stage with this amount of storage. Another upgrade that this device brings is a better 6.1-inch Actua display maxing out at 2000 nits brightness and supporting a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.

Running Android 14 out of the box, this device brings 7-year worth of OS upgrades to users, hence joining the top players in the Android ecosystem. Being a Google Pixel, you get the best software experience on any Android device, as well as the best photography abilities. For cameras, this device packs a dual rear camera setup housing a 64MP main and 13Mp ultrawide sensor.

Up front sits the 13MP selfie camera and, as we all know, Google Pixel devices take some of the best pictures in the game. There are also a ton of AI features that this new device brings to the table, and Google will touch on this in their I/O event that’ll take place next week (all of this comes at just $499). We can’t wait to get our hands on this device and put it to use to better understand what Google is bringing to the table.
