The Google Pixel market share from Q4 2023 saw impressive growth in the North American market. At this moment, the market share of the Mountain View tech giant’s smartphone brand in the US is almost 5%. This is great news for Google, as their product and marketing strategy seems to be drawing attention from more and more buyers in the region.

From this new report, we can tell that Google is now closing in on one of its top rivals in the region. For Q4 2023 Motorola closed the year as the third-largest smartphone brand in the US with a market share of 8%. Ahead of it was Samsung controlling about 22.4% share of the market and in top place is none other than Apple with a market share of 51.9%.

Following these top players in fourth place is none other than Google Pixel with a market share of 4.6%. This is impressive growth for the smartphone company as they kicked TCL out of fourth place. With just a margin of 0.2% separating Google Pixel from TCL, the Mountain View firm clings to fourth place.

Despite Google’s drop in its YoY shipment, it was still able to kick TCL out of fourth place. In 2022, Google could only boast of 3.6% of the US smartphone market share. Among the big five smartphone brands in the US, only Apple and Google saw significant growth in their sales within the region.

Overall, the US smartphone shipment saw a 6.9% YoY decline, but this didn’t deter Google Pixel growth. Only Apple and TCL saw a YoY growth while the other brands on the top five list saw massive YoY declines. Well, despite their YoY decline, Google is still growing in the US and the entire North American region.
