As new reports reveal, the upcoming HTC U24 series has made an appearance on the Geekbench platform. This reveals their Geekbench score, the processor they’ll use as well as the operating system they’ll run on and their RAM capacity. For most netizens, this report is quite shocking, as some might feel that HTC is out of the smartphone manufacturing industry.
Well, this isn’t the case considering that last year the brand launched the U23 series. This launch took place in May last year, so we are on track for a refresh to this device. Now we’re getting more details on this coming device, which we expect to launch in the coming weeks.
From the Geekbench platform, we learn that this device scores 1095 on the single-core and 3006 on the multi-core. Securing the HTC U24 series, this score is an 8-core processor with a base frequency of 1.80GHz. Our sources point out that this processor is the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, which is currently in use on some other budget-entry Android devices.
For the HTC U24 series RAM capacity, we expect them to launch with 12GB, which is similar to what their predecessor launched with. Just like its predecessor, both devices in this coming series from HTC will make use of the same processor. The major difference on both devices will be in terms of storage capacity, RAM options, and camera specifications.
Another certification that this coming HTC U24 series has is the Bluetooth SIG certification. This points out that both devices in the series will support Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity technology. More details on this coming series will hit the headlines in the coming weeks leading up to its launch.
