Infinix Zero Flip prepares to launch officially as it gets ECC certification

-

The next foldable device joining the Transsion Holding line-up is the Infinix Zero Flip. Last year, we got to see the launch of the Tecno Phantom V Fold and Flip devices as more affordable options in the foldable smartphone market. This year we are getting some hard evidence that Tecno’s sister brand, Infinix, is gearing up to launch its clamshell folding device.

Thanks to the attention of the Android Headline team, they were able to spot the certification of this coming device. Yes, the coming Infinix Zero Flip has passed its ECC certification and an image to support this is available. Sometime last week, news outlets noted the presence of Infinix devices on the ECC certification platform.

Among the two devices that were spotted on this platform were a Note and Zero series device. At the time of spotting these devices on the ECC platform, sources were able to identify the Note series device. For a while, the Zero series device remained a mystery to netizens, but now internal sources familiar with this matter have pinpointed the second device.

Coming in with model number X6962 was the Infinix Zero Flip, which is set to launch in the coming months. This device will be the first foldable entry from Infinix as it follows the footsteps of its sister brand, Tecno. However, Tecno first launched an actual folding device before moving over to launching the clamshell Phantom Flip.

Because the Infinix Zero Flip just got its ECC certification, it might be a reach to hope for a larger folding device. In the meantime, we’ll focus our attention on the coming clamshell folding device awaiting its official launch. Although there is no detail on this product’s official launch, we expect it to take place in the coming months.
