Aspyr, in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games, has officially announced the return of STAR WARS Episode I: Jedi Power Battles, bringing the action-packed classic from 2000 to modern platforms with enhanced features and gameplay. The remastered version is set to release on January 23, 2025, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, with a price tag of $19.99. Pre-orders are already available on PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam.
Another cult classic is back thanks to Aspyr
This 25th-anniversary edition of Jedi Power Battles will feature enhanced controls, modernized graphics, and gameplay improvements, with additional content to celebrate the iconic lightsaber combat game. Fans will recognize familiar characters such as Mace Windu, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Plo Koon, Adi Gallia, and Qui-Gon Jinn.
A major highlight of the new edition is the inclusion of 13 newly unlocked characters from the start, alongside all original secret characters and levels. Players will now be able to battle as Darth Maul, Captain Panaka, Queen Amidala, and even unlock new characters like a Rifle Droid, Tusken Raider, and more after completing their first playthrough.

The game will support two-player couch co-op for the entire 10-level campaign, as well as new features for modern consoles, such as customizable lightsaber colors, classic and modern control options, and cheat codes like Big Head Mode. Additionally, Jedi Power Battles will include the versus and training modes from later releases, offering fans more ways to enjoy the action.
