Kia EV6 gets a refresh bringing a new face, styling, and performance

-

Just hitting the global launch stage is the new Kia EV6, and it brings a ton of upgrades from the previous model. This vehicle is Kia’s fully electric crossover vehicle, and it packs a ton of impressive features as well as a design upgrade. For the design changes, some onlookers might need a second glance at certain areas of this new vehicle to see the changes it brings in comparison with its predecessor.

One of the major changes that this vehicle brings is its new headlight styling, which is more angular than the 2023 EV6 model. There are also some new front bars, alloy wheels, and bumpers on some trims of the new Kia EV6 entry. Aside from these design changes, it might be hard to tell this new vehicle apart from its predecessor, especially from its rear end.

On the inside, this new vehicle doesn’t bring any design changes in comparison with its predecessor. The only change that is easy to point out on the new Kia EV6 is the location of the Kia logo on the steering wheel. On the 2023 model, the Kia logo sits in the centre of the wheel, while this new model moves the logo to the right side of the wheel.

Kia also adds some technology features to the interior, like a fingerprint system. The battery on this new vehicle upgrades from a 77.4kWh battery to an 84kWh battery pack, giving it a 494km range on a single charge. Charging this massive battery pack only takes 18 minutes to take it from 10-80%.

The range-topping model of this new Kia EV6 entry from 2024 is the GT-Line, and it kicks off at €43,000. For the base model known as Light, it kicks off at a price of €37,700. The sale of this new electric vehicle will start next month in the South Korean market before touching down in other regions.
