Ukrainian product company MacPaw, which creates and distributes applications for macOS and iOS, today introduced an updated version of the ClearVPN application, which provides privacy on the Web in one click.

ClearVPN with an updated interface allows users on iOS, macOS, Android and Windows devices to easily connect to servers in more than 45 countries and provides online protection, access to Ukrainian and global content, as well as safe use of public Wi-Fi. The “Optimal Connection” algorithm determines the best server for a user’s needs based on location, distance to servers, service availability, and server load.

“We at MacPaw help technology help you,” said MacPaw founder and CEO Oleksandr Kosovan. “With this update, ClearVPN lives up to that mission by offering a secure and private internet experience in an intuitive app across multiple devices.”

Users of the new version of ClearVPN can protect themselves online and access the server that best suits their needs with a single button that users appreciate in other MacPaw products: CleanMyMac and CleanMyPhone. New widgets for iOS and macOS provide instant VPN connection, and integration with Siri Shortcuts lets you automate ClearVPN for different scenarios – for example, automatically turning on the VPN when connecting to public Wi-Fi networks. Also, this update brings a new Chrome ad-blocking extension, ClearWeb.

“ClearVPN is a modern VPN solution that protects and enhances every user’s online experience with an elegant and easy-to-use design,” said Ivan Ablamskyi, ClearVPN’s chief product manager at MacPaw. – Our goal is to unite MacPaw products with a single aesthetic, which will firstly be convenient to use and provide privacy and access to the desired content in one click.”
