Netizens on the internet are currently erupting as reports of the more affordable Nothing Phone 2a surface. The smartphone manufacturing company has also taken to its X (formerly Twitter) page to announce the launch of something new this week. This announcement is coming after the listing of this coming device leaked quite recently.
From the listings, we can tell the coming device’s model number which is A142 and it’ll feature some changes from its predecessors. Previously, some tipsters within the industry have come out to identify the existence of a coming Nothing Phone 2a model. This might just be the same as the new device that just recently got its BIS certification.
It’s safe to say that this coming device will be a more affordable entry into Nothing’s smartphone line-up. Ever since the brand made its debut in the industry last year, it has launched two smartphones with rather strange designs. Most people who come across these smartphones might write them off because they come with back glass panels that light up.
Well, you’ll be wrong to expect the coming Nothing Phone 2a to launch without this feature as well. The Glyph interface on Nothing’s devices has come to be the brand’s signature and will also be available on the more affordable entry. Already a low-quality image of this device has hit the internet and it has the Glyph interface for the backlights.
More technical details on this coming smartphone are few at this point. Sources claim that this more affordable device will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display. Possibly this is the device that Nothing intends to announce this week (alongside their Apparel product line) and it might just retail under the $400 price tag.
