Netizens around the world now have access to the Nothing Phone 2a prototype, showing off its design. The prototype shows off some distinct changes that’ll set the coming device away from its predecessors. This prototype that is currently circulating the internet gives netizens an idea of what to expect in terms of the design and specifications of the coming device.
From the front of the device, it is clear that this coming Nothing Phone 2a device will launch with a centre punch-hole front-facing camera. Photos taken of the prototype’s rear end show off some design changes in comparison with existing Nothing smartphones. Instead of the rear camera cutout sitting on the top left-hand corner of the device, the coming device will have a centre-mounted cutout.
This cutout will house two cameras as well as a flash same amount of rear cameras on other Nothing smartphones. Aside from this, there is no more design information on this coming device that will launch in the coming months. The pictures don’t show off the Glyph interface, since the prototype device is in what is called a launch-box.
This helps protect the full rear design of the device from leaking ahead of its launch. However, images of the prototype also show off some specifications that users can expect from this coming device. The two rear cameras will be 50MP, while the front-facing camera will be a 16MP sensor.
Nothing will launch this device with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, which is okay for most users. The screen size will be 6.7 inches, and it’ll use an AMOLED panel for better screen display quality. According to leaks, the processor will be the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 and the Nothing Phone 2a will also launch with a redesigned Glyph interface. Just like other Nothing devices, this coming entry will run on Android with Nothing OS touches. The launch date and full specifications of this coming device as well as its possible pricing will hit the internet in the coming days.
