Unit 13 of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, “Group 13,” has carried out another successful operation resulting in another loss for the Russian fleet. Intelligence using the Magura V5 strike marine drone destroyed a speedboat belonging to the Russian invaders.

According to information released on the official website of the Main Intelligence Directorate, the successful mission in the Vuzka Bay area within the temporarily occupied Crimea became feasible with the support of the United24 platform.

Українська розвідка знищила у Криму російський швидкісний катер“As the fear of Ukrainian attacks forces the occupiers to keep large ships of the Black Sea Fleet away from the peninsula, combat operations continue against the fast maneuverable military vessels of the Russians illegally present in the Ukrainian territorial waters of Crimea,” the statement from the Main Intelligence Directorate adds.

We’ve heard about the successes of Unit Group 13 and the capabilities of the Magura V5 strike maritime drones on several occasions. This weaponry has already destroyed and damaged several Russian ships. Among them was the large landing ship “Cezar Kunikov,” which was stationed near the city of Alupka and sustained critical breaches on its port side as a result of the attack, and the missile boat of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, the “Ivanovets.” This large missile boat, designed for destroying enemy ships and vehicles at sea, was patrolling the Black Sea. Due to a series of direct hits to its hull, it sustained damage incompatible with further movement, listed aft, and sank.

The Magura V5 strike maritime drones also targeted the patrol ship “Sergey Kotov,” which costs approximately $65 million. As a result of the attack, it sustained numerous damages to its stern, right, and left sides. Additionally, the unit accounted for the destruction of the Russian ships “Akula” and “Serna,” as well as the damage to the Russian medium reconnaissance ship for the near, far maritime, and oceanic zones, the “Ivan Khurs.”
