The coming Samsung Galaxy Book 4 will make use of the new Intel Meteor Lake processor. Those familiar with the launch of this laptop series point out that it’ll benefit from the AI capability of this processor. To bring this AI capability to life, Samsung will put its Gauss large language model to good use.
The Intel Meteor Lake processors are here to replace the Intel Core i5, i7, and i9 processors that are currently in use. These are higher-end processors that will help boost performance on the coming Samsung flagship high-performance laptops. Samsung will announce these laptops in the coming days, but its official launch might occur in a few days.
In place of the Intel i5, i7, and i9 chips, the Meteor Lake processors will feature the Core Ultra 5, 7, and 9. The Samsung Galaxy Book 4 may feature the Meteor Lake Core Ultra 5, 7, and 9 processors. It might be possible that the laptops in the Samsung Galaxy Book 4 series will become available for purchase after CES 2024.
The major details on these chips that are currently available are their AI capabilities. Pairing this up with the Samsung Gauss large language model (LLM) will unlock a ton of AI capabilities for the users of these laptops. Samsung will be the first laptop manufacturer to use the Intel Meteor Lake processor.
These will also be the first laptops from Samsung that’ll use the Gauss AI model. In terms of performance, there is nothing yet available regarding this at this moment. After the Samsung Galaxy Book 4 launch, other brands will follow through by launching new laptops with the Intel Meteor Lake processor.
