Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 will feature some design upgrades

-

Each year, foldable devices try to improve on their technology and this year, the coming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 will bring a few upgrades. New information on this coming foldable device from Samsung has hit the internet ahead of its launch. Ice Universe, a popular tech tipster, has hit netizens with a few details on the upgrades that this coming foldable device will bring.

The tipster points out two upgrades that this coming foldable device will bring, and one will be loved by many. The more expected design change that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 will launch with is a reduction to the crease along its screen’s folding path. Some tech enthusiasts have come to brands like Samsung for a visible eyesore, which is the crease on their foldable device’s screen.

Over the past few years, we have seen Samsung reduce the crease on their foldable devices and the coming foldable device will also improve in this aspect. Our sources point out that the use of thicker ultra-thin glass (UTG) will enable Samsung to reduce the crease on their coming foldable devices. As for the other change that the tipster, Ice Universe, points out, this coming foldable device will launch with a new camera cutout.

A close-up picture of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 lens shows a texture finish around the lens’ ring. The predecessor to this coming device doesn’t have this texture finish on its camera lens cutout. While this doesn’t improve the photography ability of the device, it will help step up its looks.

So, with the coming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6, we expect to see less crease as well as a new camera cutout. There will also be a few performance upgrades that this coming foldable device will bring in comparison with its predecessor. The next generation of Samsung foldable devices is months away from hitting the launch stage, bringing upgrades to the foldable series launched last year.
