The Sony Xperia Pro-C is preparing to make its way to the global launch stage. A new leak regarding this coming device reveals a few major upgrades that this device will bring to the Android smartphone industry. These upgrades will affect areas such as the coming device’s screen size, performance, and photography abilities.
This coming device will focus on photography and will succeed the Sony Xperia Pro-I which hit the launch stage two years ago. Sony will retail this coming device as their top-of-the-line entry, offering buyers all they need, from performance to photography abilities. Now, a leak has let the cat out of the bag concerning this device’s specifications and features, as well as a few upgrades to look out for.
Starting with the screen size of this coming device, it’ll feature a 6-inch display in place of the larger 6.5-inch option on the Xperia Pro-I. This 2K resolution OLED display will feature a special anti-reflection coating, similar to what we have with the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. As for its performance, this device will see a bump from the Snapdragon 888 processor on its processor to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
Joining this impressive processor will be 12GB worth of RAM similar to that of its predecessor. For photography, the coming Sony Xperia Pro-C will launch with a triple rear setup housing a 1-inch 50MP main sensor and two 12MP sensors. The photography system of this device will support 12-bit RAW and 14-bit DCG RAW formats, as well as 4K video recording at 120 frames per second.
There’s currently no information on the front-facing camera on this coming device. Additionally, we aren’t sure of the existence of an ultrawide camera and a telephoto unit on the rear camera setup. Lastly, this coming device will upgrade the battery capacity from its predecessor to a 5000mAh battery which will support 45W fast charging.
