OnePlus is rumoured to be planning to release an upgraded version of the OnePlus Ace 3 that was launched earlier this year. Not to be confused with the recently launched OnePlus Ace 3V, which is the world’s first phone powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor.
The upcoming phone is called the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro and will not only have improved specifications but also a completely different design. According to Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station, the phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
Also, the Pro model will have an OLED display with curved edges and a 1.5K resolution. According to rumours, the powerful chipset will work in a pair with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of flash memory, but nothing is reported about the slot for microSD memory cards. While the size of the battery is unknown, the leak claims that it will support 100W charging.
On the camera front, this coming device will be just as impressive with a 50MP primary camera on the back that features the same IMX890 sensor as the OnePlus Ace 3.
In terms of design, the Ace 3 Pro will have a metal middle frame made using a new coating process and a glass back panel. It is not yet known when we can expect the appearance of this flagship, but it should be presented already this year.
