The original Stalker trilogy is set to arrive on the Nintendo Switch on 31st October, a bit earlier than developer GSC Game World had previously announced. Fans of the post-apocalyptic survival series can now experience the acclaimed titles on a new platform with optimized features for handheld gaming.

The Switch release offers a couple of purchasing options. Players can opt for the Legends of the Zone bundle, which packages the three classic games: Shadow of Chernobyl (2007), Clear Sky (2008), and Call of Pripyat (2009). The bundle is priced at 39.99 USD. For those who prefer to buy the games individually, each title is available for 19.99 USD.

Set in an alternate version of Ukraine’s Chornobyl Exclusion Zone after a second nuclear disaster, the Stalker series immerses players in a bleak world filled with mutants, anomalies, and danger. Known for its unique blend of FPS survival horror and RPG elements, the series has garnered a strong fanbase, and the Switch versions promise to retain these core aspects while introducing platform-specific enhancements.

The Stalker trilogy on Switch, developed in collaboration with Mataboo, will be “fully optimized” with refined visuals and will offer platform-specific features such as an adapted shooting system with gyro aiming, a touch interface for controls, and full support for both handheld and TV modes.
