Specifications on the coming Vivo X Fold 3 have hit the internet thanks to a new leak from a popular tipster. Digital Chat Station took to his Weibo page to share details on this coming foldable device from Vivo. The details shared covered most parts of this coming foldable device, hence giving netizens an idea of what to expect from this device.
For its screen size, this device will launch with a 6.53-inch cover display and a larger 8.03-inch folding display. For the front screen, we expect to see an LTPO panel, while the larger folding screen will flaunt an AMOLED panel from Samsung’s display unit. Some rumours about these displays claim that they’ll both feature under-display fingerprint readers, unlike other devices in the foldable industry.
For performance, this foldable device will rely on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. This might put it behind the competition in terms of performance, as some foldable devices to launch this year will feature the newer and more powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The tipster responsible for this information didn’t provide details on this foldable device’s RAM or storage capacity.
While this coming Vivo device might slack back in terms of its performance in comparison with the competition, it makes up for it with its design. Reports claim that this might be the lightest and slimmest foldable device. In the coming months, other foldable devices from the likes of Honor and Xiaomi might launch and challenge this status.
In the camera department, this device will feature a 50MP triple rear camera setup. For selfies, there will be a 32MP front-facing camera on both screens of this device. The Vivo X Fold 3 will launch at the end of this month and then full details on this device will be available.
