Xiaomi unexpectedly returned to the tablet segment last year with two devices. And, the company does not intend to leave it in the near future. It even plans to increase the number of models. It is expected that we will see four tablets, three of which will be part of the Xiaomi Pad 6 series, and one will be released under the Redmi brand.
According to rumors, the new devices will receive both Qualcomm and MediaTek SoCs. For example, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Dimensity 9000. Possible improvements to the Pad 6 may include increased charging power, up to 120W vs 67W in the predecessors, as well as a 144 Hz LTPO display. Almost all new products will receive a new version of MIUI and improved speakers. There’s also an 8000+ mAh battery expected, as upgraded screens and new chipsets require more juice.
According to unconfirmed information, 4 upcoming Xiaomi tablets were already certified. In particular, the EEC certification database lists models L81, L81A, L82, and L83. It is yet unknown when new devices will be formally unveiled.
