-

The Xiaomi SU7 took the automobile and the EV world by storm when it hit the launch stage last year. Last month alone, this new electric saloon made 7058 deliveries and this is a great achievement for the brand. Earlier this year we learnt that Xiaomi, the maker of the SU7, had plans to produce 10,000 vehicles every month by June 2024.

While at the time that seemed like a reach for the brand considering that they were new in the EV market, this vehicle’s sales performance was growing hot. Retailing in only China at this time, the new Xiaomi SU7 is getting buyers and EV enthusiasts excited for the right reasons. With over 7000 sales last month, the goal of producing 10,000 vehicles each month by June is very much achievable.

At this point, all Xiaomi needs to do at this point is to keep ramping up their sales, and they might be able to achieve their production goal. Well, some might wonder what exactly is making this EV the go-to choice for a ton of buyers in its retail region. For most, it’s all about their curiosity at first before how well this vehicle is built, its stunning design, and the performance it puts out.

On the aspect of curiosity, most buyers of this vehicle initially wondered what a smartphone manufacturing brand could bring to the automobile world. Smartphone manufacturers like Huawei are already making waves in the automobile industry with their technological advancements and vehicle partnerships. So some might expect the same from the Xiaomi SU7, and from looks, you’ll agree that this vehicle looks stunning.

In terms of performance, this vehicle is going up against the likes of the Tesla Model 3. For these few reasons, a lot of EV buyers in China have been opting for the Xiaomi SU7, hence helping sales grow in the region. If this sales growth continues to the end of the year, we might be in line to see a successor to the SU7 in no time.
