So if you want to create a shared Google Calendar that you can use with your team or friends, you’ll need to set it up on the web platform. Once it’s ready, you can share it with your team or friends for viewing on a mobile device or the web. From the web platform, you can also share your calendar with others or add them directly to the calendar so they get a notification for new events.

Here are the steps to take to be able to create a shared Google Calendar that you can use with your team or friends:
- Open the Google Calendar webpage.
- On the left-hand side of the interface, you’ll find the “Other calendars” section, tap on the plus sign next to it to create a new calendar.
- On the dropdown option list, select the “Create new calendar” option.
- Next, input the name description and time zone of the calendar that you wish to create.
- Once you’re done imputing the details of the calendar, hit the “Create calendar” button.
By taking these steps, you’ll have successfully created a Google calendar that you can share with your team or friends. To access this calendar, simply launch the Google Calendar website, and you’ll find your created calendar under the “My Calendars” section on the left side of the interface. From here, you can open up the calendar and add events and tasks that will be on display across the calendar for all you share the calendar too.

Take the following steps to share the calendar with others:
- Hover your mouse pointer over the calendar you wish to share with others under the “My calendars” section.
- Tap on the three-dot icon next to the calendar’s name.
- Next, tap on the “Settings and sharing” option in the dropdown list that pops up.
- Scroll down to the “Share with specific people or groups” option.
- Here you can tap on the “Add people and groups” option.
- Type in their email or their name and add them to the calendar.
- You can click on the “Permission” dropdown to add permissions for the people you’re adding.
- Once you’re done, click send and this will send an invitation to the person’s email to join the calendar.
Now you can not only create but also add people to your Google Calendar. With this feature, your team or friends will also know what the order of events is over a set period. You can now get more productive while scheduling more time with your friends by sharing your Google Calendar with them.
