The Sanag brand may not be well-known to everyone, but the manufacturer might pique the interest of budget-conscious shoppers looking for wireless earbuds with good sound quality. I recently got my hands on another pair of Sanag headphones for review. This time, I’ll be talking about the Sanag Z77 Pro model, which is perfect for workouts. These earbuds have a bullet-shaped design, providing a secure fit and comfortable feel during use.

Positioning and price
I already had experience using headphones from the company, so I’m familiar with the price range of their offerings. Overall, the price of Sanag headphones is quite budget-friendly, ranging from $30 to $80. Currently, on AliExpress, the Sanag Z77 Pro can be purchased at a promotional price of around $50, while their full price is approximately $80.
The Z77 Pro has received a significant number of improvements compared to previous models, which has resulted in an increase in cost. Personally, I find the price to be reasonable for wireless headphones with such a wide range of uses.
What’s in the box
The packaging of the Sanag Z77 Pro is similar to other models from the company. It comes in a dark blue box wrapped with a light cardboard strip on the outside. Only the Sanag logo is printed in the center of the box. Basic information about the headphones is provided on the strip. On the front, there is an image of the Sanag Z77 Pro, while the back features a description of the technical specifications, a QR code for downloading the app, and on the side, information about compatibility with iOS and Android devices and certification for SSQVP EXTREME sound enhancement technology and SF EARS – dynamic movement of speaker coils.
Under the lid, there is a plastic tray containing the case with the earbuds, which is wrapped in film. Beneath the tray, there is a cardboard compartment where the USB-C to USB-A charging cable, instructions, QR code for the app, and a “Sanag” card are placed.

Design, materials, build quality
The Sanag Z77 Pro earbuds are available in two colors: classic black and beige, which resembles ivory. I received the beige model for review. I prefer light colors and would choose this shade over the potential white. Moreover, such a color looks more “premium.”
The case material has a matte coating, which I quite like. On the inner side of the lid, there is a brief technical information about the model, which is easy to read with the naked eye. I emphasize this because in the Sanag T50 Pro model, it was almost impossible to do so.
The Sanag Z77 Pro earbuds have a bullet-shaped design and are stored in the case with the tips facing outward. The plastic arch is flexible, but the shape remains unchanged. I haven’t used earbuds with this configuration before, but I was genuinely surprised by their comfort. Probably due to the flat design, the Z77 Pro adapts well to the shape of the ear. They are almost weightless and have a good grip. Although the speaker module is not directed inward into the ear canal but simply hangs over the opening, the sound is perceived as good as with in-ear headphones.
The size of the case doesn’t add much practicality; carrying it in a pocket would be inconvenient. However, it fits comfortably in the palm of the hand. It opens quite tightly, making it difficult to do so with just one hand.
The matte finish improves grip with the palm, even if it’s sweaty (which is relevant in summer or during workouts). Additionally, this solution makes it easier to care for the case—it collects fewer fingerprints and scratches. Considering that the case has a capsule shape, it would have been practical to make its bottom more stable—a flat shape—so it sits firmly on the table.

Design and arrangement of elements
The lid opens quite wide (at a 90-degree angle), making it convenient to retrieve the earbuds. I was a bit puzzled by the decision to place the LED indicator at the back. Somehow, I didn’t notice it right away, and I find it rather impractical for tracking the status. The indicator lights up turquoise when charging or when the earbuds are placed in the case. Next to the indicator is the USB-C charging port.
The earbuds are secured in the case’s compartments with magnetic holders, providing a good grip, making it easy to store and retrieve them quickly. The brand logo is imprinted on the outer part of the earbud, along with an LED status indicator. Inside the earbud housing, there is a microphone for feedback, metal speaker perforation, and charging contacts.
The conversation microphone is located on the outer side of the earbud. The Sanag logo is also imprinted on the touch control area.

Comfort of use
Considering that this is my first experience with earbuds of this design, I am very pleased with their comfort. The manufacturer stated that the Z77 Pro is designed for use during sports activities, but I had doubts about whether it would be comfortable. So I decided to test it in practice. And I was indeed comfortable running in them. The Z77 Pro securely fit on my ears, stayed in place well, and didn’t slip during head movements. The same applied to workouts in the gym— the earbuds didn’t fall out during bends or changes in position while exercising. This is really important because it allowed me to focus fully.
As for noise cancellation, the manufacturer succinctly stated in the specifications that it is “good,” but without further details. This surprised me a bit, and later I understood the reason. There is no need to talk about quality noise cancellation in the Sanag Z77 Pro because the earbuds do not sit deep in the ear but rather hang over the ear canal. When I was outside, I even felt a light breeze. Despite that, the Z77 Pro did not change position on my ears. Walking down the street, I could hear music from approaching cars, conversations of people passing by. However, even with street noise, which sometimes reached me from the surroundings, it didn’t distract me from enjoying my favorite tracks. So, the Sanag Z77 Pro can definitely be considered for sports activities.
In my opinion, the earbuds are not meant for extended wear. After about an hour, I began to feel discomfort in areas where they sit behind the ear and in front of the ear. Also, after analyzing my second pair of Sanag wireless earbuds, I noticed an excessive sensitivity of the touch controls. A slight accidental touch is enough to trigger them.
Use with the app
The Sanag Z77 Pro earbuds are controlled through touch. In practice, I realized that tasks assigned to a single touch on the sensor can also be replicated by swiping across it. By default, a single touch activates the option to pause and play the track, while a double touch switches tracks.
The instruction manual describes the possible options for single, double, and triple taps, as well as the tasks associated with them:
- Single tap – pauses/plays playback/answers a call
- Double tap – increases/decreases volume
- Press and hold on the right earbud – activates voice assistant
- Press and hold on the left earbud – turns ANC on/off
At the moment, the Sanag app is only available for IOS:
The “Sanag” app allows you to optimize the performance of the headphones. To use the app, you need to connect the headphones to it by selecting them from the list of available models. After that, the current settings of the model will be displayed, along with the option to adjust them. Using the app, you can optimize the listening experience for specific music genres by applying the corresponding effect. For me, using the SSQVP-EXTREME preset (digital sound enhancement technology) for all genres turned out to be the optimal choice.
Sanag Z77 Pro sound quality
In the absence of high-quality noise cancellation and considering the specific configuration of the headphones, they offer more than a satisfactory level of sound. I would even go as far as to say that they can compete with more expensive models. Perhaps this is due to the 3D audio technology and the presence of 15 mm speakers. The manufacturer mentions a new cyclone sound transmission technology, which ensures clarity and consistency without distortion. I can agree with this characteristic, both indoors and outdoors.
The overall impression is very pleasant; I enjoyed listening to music and watching videos on the Sanag Z77 Pro.
Microphones and headset feature
The manufacturer states that the Sanag Z77 Pro features an intelligent call noise cancellation algorithm, allowing for uninterrupted calls.
In practice, the headphones have a mediocre microphone, making it inconvenient to hold conversations, and this model is probably not designed for that purpose. They may be suitable for brief messages or short indoor conversations. However, outdoors, due to the lack of necessary noise cancellation for communication, your interlocutor might have difficulty hearing you clearly.
Battery life and charging
The Sanag Z77 Pro case charges via a USB-C port. I was able to charge it to 100% without the headphones in 1.5 hours, with a charge of 5V/0.4A. The headphones have a battery capacity of 55 mAh, while the case has a capacity of 400 mAh.
The combined working time is 32 hours, with the headphones lasting for 6 hours on a single charge. I found that the charge lasted me for a day of active usage. The low battery level is indicated by a voice assistant.
My conclusion regarding battery life: the headphones are designed for long-term use without recharging, with the ability to quickly recharge when needed.
Conclusions
The TWS headphones Sanag Z77 Pro are designed for use during sports activities. They are maximally adapted for this purpose, both in terms of design and equipment. The manufacturer emphasizes the model’s waterproof properties, as it is resistant to sweat and rain. The headphones are comfortable to use, but not for extended periods, as there may be a feeling of pressure on the ears at points of contact. They sound very good, on par with more expensive models. They recharge quickly, although they have a bulky case.
However, the headphones have an ultra-sensitive control sensor, which will take somegetting used to, and the microphone quality is mediocre. The reasonable price combined with an interesting design and good sound make Sanag Z77 Pro worth a look.
