GPD has announced pricing for its new Win Max 2 portable gaming PC. Portable PC price starts at $899. Win Max 2 was announced earlier this year with some pretty impressive specs. The device can be ordered from the company’s website starting from July 7.
The base model is based on an AMD Ryzen 7 6800U processor with 16 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The 1 TB storage version will cost only $100 more, while 32 GB of RAM will cost you $1,199. Configuration with an Intel Core i7-1260P processor is available only with 1 TB of storage, for $999.
In addition to powerful components, GPD Win Max 2 is equipped with a 10.1-inch touch screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio and FullHD+ resolution(1920×1200). Keyboard and console controls are built-in. Two analog sticks with a Hall sensor (to prevent drift), a crosshair, four standard buttons and four additional buttons provide traditional gameplay experience, while the keyboard also allows to use GPD Win Max 2 for productivity.
Ports-wise, the laptop has Thunderbolt 4/USB4, a standard USB Type-C port, several USB Type-A ports, SD and microSD card readers, and a headphone jack.
There’s also a user-upgradable SSD expansion and a fingerprint sensor, to make this portable PC not only powerful but also secure.
