Honor Magic 6 Pro leak reveals its camera details and a 1-inch main sensor

-

A new Honor Magic 6 Pro leak reveals that the flagship smartphone will join a trend next year. This has to do with using a 1-inch rear camera sensor for taking better photos. Right now, this smartphone has got its 3C certification, meaning that we are edging closer to its launch.

Popular tech tipster Digital Chat Station points out that this smartphone will launch with an OV50K 1-inch main camera sensor. Joining this massive sensor will be an OV50H sensor and a 160MP telephoto sensor. This might mean that the Honor Magic 6 Pro will feature a triple rear camera sensor.

For taking photos at different focal lengths, this smartphone will make use of a variable aperture. But it doesn’t stop there as this device will also use a 3D Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensor which will sit on the front camera cutout. The Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensor will assist in making facial recognition perform a bit smoother.

Next to this ToF sensor will sit the selfie camera, and both will share the pill-shaped centre screen cutout. Some leaks claim that this selfie camera will have a 12MP sensor, but that is yet to be confirmed. Aside from the photography side of things, there’s little that is currently available concerning this coming device.

However, fans can expect some upgrades in comparison to its predecessor. These upgrades will come in the photography, performance, connectivity (satellite), and design departments. For its design, there are rumours that the coming Honor Magic 6 Pro will feature a Porsche design.

This rumoured Porsche design as well as the 1-inch sensor and the variable aperture are elements from Honor’s parent company. Yes, Huawei no longer launches Porsche design smartphones, but it still rocks its variable aperture and will use a 1-inch sensor on its coming flagship device. Netizens might already be wondering how the coming Honor Magic 6 Pro will stack up against the competition after its launch.
