The coming iQOO Z9 Turbo midrange flagship device is preparing to launch with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. This processor is set to be in use on several midrange flagship devices that are preparing to launch. While the launch of the iQOO Z9 series is preparing to take place in April, only the Turbo model will come with this processor.
An official poster promoting this device’s launch has hit the internet revealing its processor. Aside from featuring the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, this device will also feature 24GB worth of RAM capacity. This will be the highest RAM capacity available on this device, which will be part of a series of three devices.
The other devices in this series are the iQOO Z9 (base model) and the iQOO Z9x, both of which will also feature Snapdragon processors. As for the iQOO Z9, it’ll launch with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, which is a mid-range processor. Following this device will be the iQOO Z9x which will feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor which is more powerful than that on the base model device.
The iQOO Z9 Turbo will launch with a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED screen display supporting 144Hz refresh rate. For its battery capacity, this device will launch with a 6000mAh cell supporting 80W fast charging. Reports claim that this device will feature a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP main camera sensor.
Just like the other devices in the Z9 series, the Turbo model will launch with Android 14 and OriginOS 4.0 software. For its design, we can expect a plastic build, hence verifying its midrange status. More details on this coming device will become available in the days leading up to its launch.
