Nokia held a small online press event at MWC2022, where it announced several new smartphones and discussed plans for the future. The company did not specify the exact dates. But recent leak suggest that Nokia X21 5G gets closer to release. The image of an unreleased phone was posted by Twitter user @nlopt70.

Reportedly, Nokia X21 5G will get a 6.7-inch OLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate. The heart of the unit will be a relatively new Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G Soc. There will be two configurations of memory – 6/128 GB and 8/256 GB. There’s also a double camera on the back: 64 MP main + 13 MP ultrawide. The third hole is reserved for ToF sensor. The phone will come with Zeiss optics an a PureView technology. And a 5000 mAh battery should be enough to juice the phone for a day of active use.
The leaker himself could not believe that the phone will receive such high specs, for a budget-oriented phone. Which leaves us waiting for an official word from HMD Global themselves.
