Nubia Flip is set to hit the launch stage on April 9 as the brand’s first foldable device

After turning necks at the MWC 2024 event a few weeks ago, the Nubia Flip is preparing to launch. Nubia says that it’ll launch this device on April 9 on a now-deleted website page specifically for the launch of this device. For some reason, this page is no longer available on the brand’s website, but we can still expect the arrival of this device in a few days.

Because this notice was made on the Nubia EU website, we can expect this device to launch in this region. Aside from the EU, we can also expect this coming clamshell foldable device to launch in the Chinese smartphone market. Since this will be Nubia’s first folding device, the brand has done a considerable amount of promotion for its launch.

We don’t expect this device to be in close competition with foldable devices from Samsung, OPPO, Motorola, and the like. The coming Nubia Flip might join a coming class of affordable foldable devices. At the MWC 2024 event, we took note of a few foldable devices from the likes of Nubia and Blackview that will make up this coming affordable class.

This coming clamshell folding device will feature a massive folding 6.9-inch screen display. It’ll come with a dual 50MP rear camera setup, an external display, a Snapdragon processor, and 33W fast charging. These are just a few specifications of this coming mid-range clamshell folding device.

At this point, we can’t be sure of the pricing for this coming device. However, we expect it to be much more affordable than the current clamshell folding devices on the market. This might draw out more buyers to purchase this product once it launches in the EU and makes its way to other markets.
