Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra excels in Jerry Rig Everything’s durability test

-

As per his tradition with flagship smartphones, popular tech YouTuber Jerry Rig Everything puts the new Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra through a durability test. This test is to check the build quality of this device and show whether it’ll bend when placed under certain levels of pressure. Taking to his YouTube channel, Jerry Rig Everything went on to review the just-launched Samsung Ultra device in his unique style.

Throughout the entire duration of the video, Jerry puts the Ultra device through various tests. These include scratch tests, flame tests, as well as the almighty bend test. Despite the intensity of all these tests that the Galaxy S24 Ultra went through, the device was able to come out with flying colours.

A major improvement in this device’s design that adds to its durability is the use of Titanium on its frames. Jerry phrases this new material that is also in use on the iPhone 15 Pro series as it holds its scratch resistance better than aluminium. Not only does this new material protect the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra from scratches, but it also strengthens it against bends.

Of course, you won’t be bending your smartphone about the place, but this test shows the integrity of this device’s build. During the bend test, despite the rigorous effort Jerry put into bending this device, it didn’t flex as much under pressure. Over the years, Jerry’s durability tests have been a judging factor for most devices in terms of their build quality.

It’s great to see the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra pass Jerry’s durability test. This goes to show how much effort Samsung put into building this device, making it very durable. Aside from its durability, the new Ultra device from Samsung packs other impressive features.
