Lots of netizens have been patiently waiting for the arrival of the Vivo X100 Ultra, and this wait might be coming to an end. Although there’s no official statement on the launch of this device, our sources expect it to launch sometime next month. The device has already got its 3C certification in China and some details on this device are already hitting headlines.
According to the certification, there will be two versions of this coming smartphone. One will be the 5G version and the other will be the version that’ll support satellite connectivity. The model number of the coming Vivo X100 Ultra is V2366GA, as the 3C certification points out to the public.
Aside from this certification, a popular tipster shares a few details on the specifications of this coming device ahead of its launch. Digital Chat Station took to his Weibo page to share that the coming Vivo X100 Ultra will launch with a “big kind” battery. If this is anything like the Vivo X100 Pro then the Ultra model might launch with a similar 5400mAh battery capacity or something slightly larger supporting 80W fast charging.
For its processor, we expect that this coming device will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with up to 16GB worth of RAM capacity and 1TB storage. The other variant will add satellite connectivity features to itself, helping buyers connect to the satellite when there is a network outage. As for photography, this device will launch with the Sony Lytia LYT-900 main camera sensor as well as a 200MP telephoto lens and the BlueImage photography technology.
Just like its siblings in the X100 series, this device will launch with more than two rear cameras. As we get more details on this device, we’ll make an update on its specifications. For now, we can only patiently wait for the launch of this device, which will take place next month.
