WABetaInfo is here with news on the latest beta testing that brings a new WhatsApp music-sharing feature. Those with access to the recent WhatsApp Android beta testing version are already testing out this feature. The new beta testing feature is quite similar to the screen-sharing feature that launched for video calls a few months ago, and lots of users have come to love it.
According to the available reports, this feature was first spotted on the WhatsApp iOS beta testing version. But now it’s available on the latest WhatsApp Android beta testing version, meaning its launch for usage is approaching. This feature will enable users to share music audio while video calling others on WhatsApp.

All participants on the video call will be able to listen to the music audio that another participant of the call is sharing with them. This means that if a member of the call has a song playing on their device they can share it with others on the video call. To do this, they’ll rely on the audio-sharing ability that will be available on the video call interface once the update is ready.
It’ll be similar to the screen-sharing button, and most users will come to like the feature once it becomes available. This feature will rely on the screen sharing button to function, so as the user’s screen content is being shared, is their device’s audio content. With this, users will not only be able to share their music with others on a video call but also videos, presentations, and so much more.
At the moment, this impressive feature is under development and will become available soon. Once available users will be able to access it via an update that they can install on the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. This is just one of the changes or improvements that’s coming to WhatsApp in the coming months.
